The Homestead Witch provides hoof-care services and education designed to help horse owners better understand their horses' feet, hoof balance, trimming, movement, management, and related considerations.

The Professional Hoof Health Assessment and similar educational consultations are educational hoof-care services and are not veterinary examinations, diagnoses, prognoses, or treatments.

We may discuss observations about hoof balance, trimming, movement, management, photographs, videos, or other materials you provide. We may also identify areas that warrant further attention or recommend that you consult your veterinarian or another qualified professional.

We do not diagnose disease or injury, prescribe veterinary treatment or medication, or interpret radiographs for veterinary diagnosis.

If your horse is experiencing lameness, acute pain, illness, injury, or another medical concern, you are responsible for obtaining appropriate veterinary evaluation and care.

4. Radiographs and Other Veterinary Information

You may choose to provide radiographs, veterinary records, diagnostic reports, or other information relating to your horse.

When such materials are discussed as part of an educational hoof-care service, they may be used to help explain hoof balance, trimming considerations, or the relationship between internal structures and the external hoof capsule.

Our discussion of these materials is educational and does not constitute veterinary interpretation, diagnosis, or treatment.

Questions concerning disease, injury, pathology, prognosis, medication, or veterinary treatment should be directed to your licensed veterinarian.

5. No Guaranteed Results

We are committed to providing thoughtful, professional services and education, but we cannot guarantee a particular result for you or your horse.

Horse health, hoof development, soundness, movement, rehabilitation, behavior, performance, and other outcomes can be affected by many factors outside our control.

Testimonials, case studies, photographs, personal stories, before-and-after examples, and descriptions of past experiences illustrate individual experiences only. They do not guarantee that you or your horse will achieve the same or similar results.

You remain responsible for decisions concerning your horse and for determining when veterinary or other professional assistance is appropriate.

6. Professional Hoof Health Assessment

When you purchase a Professional Hoof Health Assessment, you are purchasing an educational hoof-care assessment based on the information and materials you provide and the service described on the applicable sales or booking page.

You are responsible for providing reasonably clear, accurate, and current photographs, videos, history, and other requested information.

The usefulness of an assessment may be limited when submitted materials are incomplete, unclear, outdated, or otherwise insufficient.

An assessment reflects the information reasonably available at the time of the service. It cannot substitute for physically examining the horse or for veterinary diagnostic procedures.

The assessment is intended to help you better understand what we observe, identify hoof-care considerations, formulate questions for your horse's care team, and make informed decisions about appropriate next steps.

7. Hands-On Hoof-Care Services

Where we provide in-person hoof-care or trimming services, you are responsible for providing accurate information about your horse's known health conditions, injuries, behavior, medications, veterinary recommendations, and other information reasonably relevant to providing the service safely.

You are also responsible for providing a reasonably safe working environment and appropriately handling or arranging for the handling of your horse.

We reserve the right to stop, postpone, modify, or decline a service when we reasonably believe proceeding would create an unacceptable safety risk to the horse, client, practitioner, handler, or others.

When a concern appears to require veterinary evaluation or otherwise falls outside our scope, we may recommend that veterinary care be obtained before hoof-care work proceeds or continues.

8. Client Responsibility and Horse Safety

Working with horses involves inherent risks.

Horses are large animals capable of sudden and unpredictable movement, even when they are normally calm or well trained.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate supervision, handling, facilities, equipment, and safety practices when applying information learned through our Website, programs, consultations, or educational materials.

You agree not to undertake a hoof-care, trimming, training, management, rehabilitation, or other activity that you do not feel qualified or physically able to perform safely.

If you are uncertain whether an activity is appropriate for your horse, seek assistance from an appropriately qualified professional.

9. Appointments

Appointments are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until successfully scheduled and, when applicable, payment has been completed.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and attending appointments at the scheduled time.

Specific cancellation, rescheduling, late-arrival, and no-show terms may vary by service. Any policy presented to you on a sales page, booking page, checkout page, confirmation, or service agreement at the time of purchase forms part of these Terms.

10. Prices and Payment

11. Refunds, Cancellations, and Satisfaction Guarantees

13. Recurring Payments and Subscriptions

If a product or program is offered through a payment plan, a payment plan is a commitment to pay the full purchase price in installments unless the offer expressly states otherwise.

Stopping participation in a program or failing to use purchased services does not automatically cancel remaining installment obligations.

This section does not apply where the offer is expressly structured as a cancel-anytime subscription or where applicable law provides otherwise.

If a scheduled installment fails, we may attempt to process the payment again, contact you to update your payment information, or suspend access to the applicable product or program until the account is brought current.
