Your horse’s hooves are crucial to their overall health, yet subtle issues often go unnoticed. Most horses have hoof dysfunction caused by management practices that prioritize profit and convenience over health.
You might sense that something is off with your horse. Perhaps you're unsure of what to do, or maybe you've been told that cracks, chipping, or thrush are normal and not to worry about them.
Cracks, chipping, chronic abscesses, and thrush are not normal. Neither are rotten frogs, overgrown heels, flared hoof walls, or thin soles. These issues are NOT genetic, either (regardless of what you’ve been told).
While they may not be normal, they’re super common. You can find them everywhere you look.
If you want to ensure your horse is living a pain-free life, they need healthy, strong hooves. Your job is to know what it will take to make that happen and advocate for it.
That’s where a professional hoof assessment can make all the difference. With my experience working with over 400 hooves, I can help you identify and address issues. Together, we can create a plan to help your horse grow beautiful, rock-crushing feet.
I spent YEARS second-guessing my horse’s hoof health. I could see she wasn't landing right, and I knew my farrier wasn't entirely up to par. I wanted to help my horse but was scared to cause drama and burn bridges.
She mattered too much for me to let my fear stand in the way. I took charge of her hoof health, and it’s made an incredible difference.
We no longer experience weeks of bad angles while waiting for our next farrier appointment. We have two fantastic farriers in our corner who help me when my back injuries prevent me from trimming.
I'm lucky enough to live in an area where I can be super picky about who works with my horse. You might not have this privilege if you live rurally or board at a barn that expects you to use their farrier. But, you can still advocate for better hoof care.
With a professional assessment, you’ll have the clarity and confidence to speak up and ask for the changes your horse needs.
Drawing on a decade of experience, I’m here to help you become a calm and strong advocate for your horse. I’ve seen firsthand how addressing hoof dysfunction can transform a horse’s quality of life. Every horse deserves this chance.
This isn’t just about identifying problems—it’s about giving you the tools and knowledge to make simple, positive changes for your horse. You’ll leave with a plan that’s easy to follow and tailored to your horse’s needs.
For just $97, you’ll receive a thorough, professional assessment that could drastically improve your horse's quality of life.
Don’t wait until hoof issues become painful and costly. Book your professional hoof assessment today and take the first step toward restoring your horse’s hoof health naturally.
You’ll need clear photos of each hoof and a short video of your horse moving at a walk. Don’t worry! I’ll provide detailed instructions on how to capture these images and videos once you book on the next page.
You’ll receive your personalized assessment and action plan during your Q&A with me. Please make sure I have your photos and videos at least 1 business day before your appointment (you choose that date on the next page).
No. I'd much rather see you work with your farrier with improved communication. I'll help you understand what needs to change and why so you can advocate for that. You may be forced to find another trimmer to get the changes you want but we always try to work with your person first.
These conditions (and many more) can benefit from improving the overall health of the hoof. In that sense, yes. However, I cannot provide specific recommendations to heal or diagnose those conditions. You will need to work with a vet for that.
As a total hoof nerd, I'd love to. However, only vets are qualified to provide recommendations from X-rays. I can't use your X-rays to inform my action plan for you.
Nope! Although it is important to know that shoes often cover up issues. Sometimes, the only way to return hooves to optimal health is to pull the shoes for awhile. Building healthy hooves is a LONG game, but if you are willing to dive in, advocate, learn, and be patient, I'm here to help.
No. The hoof health assessment is meant to prevent issues from occurring and promote long-term wellness. Head bobbing lame is an acute symptom that needs help from a vet or farrier ASAP.
I’m here to help! You can reach out with any follow-up questions, and I’ll be happy to assist you in understanding the next steps.
After your assessment, if you don't feel equipped to advocate for your horse, I'll refund you. Just let me know within 24 hours of your Q&A Call.
